I think that yes. 400 dollars are nothing for an amp and a cab. He mentions in the ad that he will negotiate the price down. So you can probably get it for 350$.

I'm using a 400rb amp which is enough for me. I had the chance to use both 700rb and 800. The 700 sounded close to the 400rb which I liked. The 800 had way too many options in it which drove me crazy. I didn't really like the sound I got out of it, but that might have been the cabinets in use(two gallien kruegers - 1X15 and a 4x10 I think).

I would really have to pull some strings to get that. I don't have the funds unfortunately. kicking myself now for leaving my job. pathetic thing is, I'm going back :?

I managed to get a GK 1001RB-II new on ebay for £400 from a music shop having a clearout. I think it's worth paying a bit extra for the increase in power. Can't wait to use it our next gig with Trumans Water in Cardiff! I 'll have to wait a bit longer for the rusty box though :(

Thanks for the advice!

I used to use an 800RB. With the right cab, it is a great amp. Pop a rusty box in front or in the effects loop, and it'll be VERY handy.

Every one I know had an issue about once every 2-3 years. Usually, it's a quick and cheap fix.
