I agree about the drummer singing part, really. They could just have Mr. Trainer step forward during some drumless bits and say something witty. Seriously!

Hah - the last time I saw them he did just that. At some point the bass drum mic got messed up, and Steve leaned down to fix it -at which point Mr. Trainer stepped forward and noted how "professionally the mic had been put in place - like he had been doing it for years" or something to that effect.

Agreed - everyone needs a vocal mic in that band.

yeah, i was gonna say, i guess you never seen 'em live or something.

I don't think Mr. Trainer will likely read this thread so I think I'm ok.

The Band is a great band in which the drummer sings, and "New Number Order" is also one of the best moments on 1000 Hurts. I also like Todd Trainer's vocal turn with Gaverick de Vis on the last track of the Giddy Motors' Make it Pop. That's a great album.

Best vocal talent in the band.

Underutilzed. Did I spell that wrong?

Case in point = Breaking Circus records and Brick Layer Cake records.

Suave.

Lotsa indie-rock weenies gripe about his shining moment on that third Shellac record, "New Number Order" or whatever it's called, but I think it's one of the better moments!

I'm not wrong, so you can't correct me!

You should get the Brick Layer Cake albums.

The Monkees. I believe that's game and match.

Didn't Mr Trainer get banned from the forum a couple of years ago? I vaguely remember mention of it, something to do with being a troll and pissing Steve and Bob off...
