I used to make Steak and Kidney Pies sometimes. Last place I cooked at there was an elderly British couple who hadn't had a decent one for years so I made them a couple and they were very happy.

I love them all. There is a new place in Austin that makes nothing but pot pies, except these are supposedly Australian style. I've never been down under, but I went to this place and got 2 pies last week. A chicken and a beef. They were luscious. The difference was, these were smaller pies that you hold in your hand, kind of like those nasty looking Dolly Madison pies that are stuffed with that pudding looking shit. Looks like Steve had to much motherfucking coffee motherfucker. Oh and Chicken. I think I might make chicken pot pie for dinner tonight.

I love pot pies, especially the chicken variety. My only (slight) problem with them is the peas. I have never been a fan of peas. Thankfully they stick out and can be removed. Snow peas are ok, I just don't like the popping round variety.
