Instead of trying to get into cheap ribbon or capacitor mics, why not get good dynamic mics which are cheaper by nature?
The Sennheiser you mentioned is good, but not like their MD421. This is an incredible microphone, and guaranteed to be one you don't give up on later like all the knock off guitar store gimmick mics shaped like bowl scrubbers or rhino suppositories.
good luck!

i figured that's why he used underscores.
also, i use my other name, you know the one.
come on james, stop fooling around, we know it's you.
i swear it ain't. i mean, obviously i remember the password to the old little atlas heavyweight, why would i make a new one?
I don't know, maybe for the same reason you created the other accounts? anyhow, I don't really mind it and I believe it's not you. If you opened a new account, your first post probably won't be in the tech room asking about mics

Actually, I didn't know that. It makes me happy that more than one person here likes The Ex though, assuming you took your name from the same place. What a fucking good band.
indeed.
and eliya, you're right, if i started a new account i probably wouldn't be asking about mic's.

Actually they are as cheap as 140€ from
these guys...
