If you really want to increase employment and reduce crime at the same time, a good start would be to get rid of the arbitrary time limits on when various businesses are supposed to be open or closed. Why close down after 9 or 10 pm and open again the next day at 7, 8, 9 am whatever? Why not just stay open 24 hours. For banks, libraries, movie theatres, what have you? It's patronising to assume everyone has the same sleep schedule, and forcing people to labor against their own somnambulistic instincts is inhuman and responsible for the zombie hordes decimating our quality of life. Just make everything 24 hours. Including Sundays. Why close down on a Sunday just because working on Sunday would offend grandma? Join the 24 Hour Party. Increase employment. Reduce crime (because more people would be up and about during night hours?) I don't know. Is this feasible?

I think this is a good idea. Also, allow more younger teens into the work place. Same benefits, same pay grade as one that's 18.

Productivity would go up too fast and too much shit would get accomplished.
Imagine a highway being built in a month instead of three years.
