I cannot wait to mow that bean...I mean see it. Is it all bulbous and shiny like in the 3d rendering in the tribune a few years back? I've been dreaming of that bean. The most magnificent sculpture the world will ever see. except for the pole of cars in berwyn...now that's a sight!

Maybe it's just me, but this place looks like something out of one of them there fancy new fangled speaking pictures that involve them extra terrestrials and aliens. Maybe even one of them fancy panced metal boxes that walk and talk like they think they are people folk or something.

Not crap. The pavilion is great, grab a nice book/magazine, something to snack on and enjoy a nice day in the sun and listen to some music if It's available. Twice I was lucky to catch some form of an orchestra playing/practicing when I went to the park, it made the visit all the more enjoyable. The Cloud Gate(the bean) is awesome and so are the water fountains and the open lawn.

The best part about the park is the bicycle station; free indoor parking and showers available, though I haven't used the showers, it is nice to know that they're available for a few bucks if needed.
