They're cool. I like the one's wit da Bob Moog electronics, too (they really work), and some have maple fret boards. Slick. I've played a few that were boat anchors, but weight / neck heavy has never been an issue for me.

If I didn't have an Explorer, I guess I'd have one of those.

The price went up since Mr. Grohl started squeezing them regularly, but RD's are still a great value.

i've heard the all aluminums aren't too bad weight wise. but i guess i'll find out soon enough! heavy instruments never really bothered me anyway.
