Pata Negra ham and real French saucisson sec salami cannot be imported due to their being classified as raw meat. So far no one in the states has been able to make a good knock off. Not even close actually.

Absinthe is available over the bar at Gecko, in Hong Kong, which is possibly one of the best jazz, sit in and jam bars I've ever been in. A tiny little joint not unlike the Get Me High (a type of venue also now not found very often in the states anymore).

You sickos with the horse steaks, you can get cans of "Horse Meat" in the dog food aisle of any ghetto supermarket that carries "American" brand generic products.

If Monteith's is available in North America, I haven't seen it. It might lose its fresh taste on the journey anyway.
