Chicago women: Where do you get your hair cut?

I've been going to Milio's for quite some time, but My Main Girl Adel just switched salons, so I may give one of the above suggestions a try. Milio's is very affordable and they're laid back - they're all fuschia-haired, but you can be as un-funky as you want to be, as evidenced by the eternal lack of funk in my hairstyle.

I've also had generally good luck at Mario Tricoci, but one time a crazy lady shagged my hair against my will. It sounds how it felt. I am not a "shagged hair" person, for fuck's sake. Gah! I would go back with a recommended stylist, though.

Judging solely on seeing El Protoolio's hair in person, I would not follow this recommendation!

Hey-O!

Seriously, I'm a dude, but I think Big Hair is worth giving them at least one shot. I've been going there for years.

Glenn is German and he pays attention to detail.

He works at the Sine Qua Non in Lincoln Square. So, choose wisely.

The Lady Mrs. Chimp is a patron of Mark L. who now currently owns and operates Blade on Ashland & Roscoe, SW corner & up the street from the Whole Foods.

Mark has been the Lady Mrs. C's stylist for a decade, and his art contributed to her amazingness which made my face melt on our wedding day.

Out of the dozen or so haircuts I have received over the past 5+ years, Mark has done the honors. Fantastic haircut. If I really cared about such things, he would be my go-to guy.

He sure is the Lady's go-to guy.

For Hair.

hmmm - i think big hair sucks. (sorry) awesome vibe and people yes, but haircuts - not so great for girls. every girl i know who's been there has regretted it. i thought my haircut there sucked too.

but cheap! and maybe i'm just a bougie fucker when it comes to haircuts. i think it's totally worth it.

i use sine qua non as well, as does my wife. valerie, susan and brad have all cut my or my wifes hair excellently. susan is cutting my hair next week.
