Yeah, I feel you.

The first time I went I felt cool though...because it's not welcoming. It's like "yeah, I'm a badass" when really I'm just an idiot.

I like the fancy soundproof door or whatever it is between the bar and stage. Nice (especially at 4-5 band shows) to get away from the music for awhile and just have some beers while carrying on a conversation at normal levels...

We're leaving for Indianapolis on Friday. We're going to be in Chicago on the afternoon and evening of the 21st and staying overnight there. Thus far, electrons and tipcat have expressed interest in hanging out and getting some Kuma's. Anyone else want to join us?

Ben and I are saving Hot Doug's for the next day, as my parents are picking us up in Chicago and love Hot Doug's. However, you are invited to join us there as well if it better suits your plans and schedules. You guys would love my dad. He's a ham radio operating mechanical engineer with an encyclopedic knowledge of rock music.

I work but I will do what I can to find you guys and at least say hello and whatnot for a few.

Cool. I'll post something Tuesday or Wednesday next week and set up a Kuma's meet-up time and perhaps figure out which drinking establishment we'll be at later in the evening.

What time are you guys going to Kuma's? I might be able to make it but I work during the day. FYI Kuma's is quite the long wait now a days. It got super popular an on average is 90 minutes to get a table.

Hey Scott! I was going to call Rich and see if you guys were free to meet up with us.

Dave (tipcat) can meet us anytime after 5:30 PM. I'm expecting it to be a bit of a wait but at least it's a weekday and there is a bar there. I'm going to say that we'll probably shoot for getting there at 5:30 or 5:45.
