I used to have a little chart showing lines between the letters for that. Kept it in my wallet. People got a kick out of it.

I don't know if he would still be in prison for leaving the scene of- and failure to report an accident involving personal injury or death, or even for reckless homicide (fatal accident while DUI). but he most certainly would not be a senior US Senator at this time.

Drunk driving, vehicular homicide if they wanted to push it, manslaughter if not. fleeing the scene, failure to report an accident with injuries, etc...

You can get life for the crimes he committed that night.

He's a piece of shit coward and I'm glad he has cancer, he deserves it.
He didn;t even try to help that woman, they say she was probably alive in the car for quite some time.
He was worried about how it would look, so he scampered off like a fucking coward and left her to die. Real class act.

Wasn't he one of the few guys who voted against the Iraq war or am I confusing him with someone else?

If you were to ask me what kind of life one could lead to possibly atone for something like the Chappaquiddick incident, I'd describe a progressive, political legacy much like the one Ted Kennedy has lived over the past four decades.
