It's just that lincoln is the new wicker is the new ukranian is the new logan, etc.etc.etc.......at this point I'm all the way to Austin.

Hey, welcome to being a person that lives on the north side. Have you seen all the condos that surround Electrical? Where the fuck do you live that is just so amazing?
I've seen the bridges burning in the night.

That was the point of my last post. Wicker Park has been sanitized for years. Each new "up and coming neighborhood" is supposed to be the new gritty urban experience. You have to take it with a grain of salt. Sorry I got your man panties in a wad.

Isn't the Hideout a lot closer than to you than Empty Bottle?

No, we are steps away from the bottle, a half hour walk to the hideout.

and you can have your 'gritty urban experience' I have had that experience and I kinda like not having my car broken into every night living over here

Please I have had that experience many times over and am not saying one neighborhood is better than another. All I can say is that crappy shit happens all over the city. One of the safest neighborhoods saw me fighting for my life in a NSICU and some of the more dangerous had people watching my back. Why are you so sensitive about WP taking criticism?

Sorry, I haven't lived there in over a year and my geography is off because I always took the Blue Line from Logan Square to Western and then the Western bus to get to the Bottle.

That's why I said 'if I'm feeling sporting.' It's a hike but I've done a few times in favor of a DUI. You can usually get a cab on North avenue down there on the way home.

I agree, even though I've had four break-ins in the past three years. That's what I get for owning my total yuppie soft top jeep though.

Funny story that I'm not sure if I ever told you. When I was living up front the couple living in my place had a break in. I went back there while the cops were around and they could see the person that stole their laptop was logged in and using their wifi, meaning they we're within a 1,000 feet. The guy who lived here showed the cops, said 'look, there they are, they're right around the corner!' Cops said they couldn't do anything about it.

The cops couldn't go around the corner to the mini-cabrini next to the school and try to to get their shit back.

It's true, I've seen him on the Blue Line.
