GBV's median age was around 38-ish when they peaked. Their twentysomething output was derivative and not too remarkable. Lou Barlow was well in his 30s for all those great classic Sebadoh albums. Ditto for Bob Mould and Sugar/mid-period solo stuff.

18Maybe I'm alone on this, but I got REal Emotional Trash and its gotta be my favorite record to come out recently. It is really fucking good. I have never cared for any of his post-Pavement stuff but you should hear the whole record if you haven't tried it. Awesome.
