I bought Kid A the other day and I have to say it's pretty good but they never go anywhere with their songs. It always feels like you're waiting for something that never comes.
I also bought Kid A the same time I brought Brainiac's "Electro-Shock For President" which makes Radiohead seem like a bunch of retards playing with macaroni.

I also never really liked them that much and never owned any of their albums, but I gotta give 'em props for being probably the best band in MTV circulation during the late '90s. And one of the few bands to manage to progress musically and keep putting out interesting shit while still in the clutches of the top 40 mainstream music media.

"Airbag" is a good song.

Why does a half-decent moody rock band with a good singer, an innovative guitarist, and a facility for milkman melodies not play to its strengths?
Why do they feel they have to prove themselves to be not-quite-as-good-as Squarepusher or Boards Of Canada?

Last night, at around 1 AM I saw 'Street Spirit' video on TV. Stunning piece of work (timing definitely helped). They lost me after 'Amnesiac', but I still like this band. I might check 'Hail to the thief' as I saw it for like 30% of regular price in the store.

Dishwalla is the most progressive band ever.

great band. i dont really have much time for people who outright discredited every single thing theyve done. usually strike me as idiots. airbag, the bends and planet telex are great songs live. its all good though i must say i dont really like all that much of radiohead. 5 great songs and the rest sounds like a band trying to imitate themselves with less than succesful results.

Exactly!
Replace the drummer and confiscate the laptops and you'd have something pretty ok.

One of those bands that I don't dislike and don't like. I'd never put them on and I wouldn't ask someone to turn them off either if they were on. Meh.

Kid A is an absolutely awesome album. Better than Ok Computer and every other preceding album by them.
It's like looking at a concept album but it really isn't a concept album, according to Thom Yorke.
And what better ending than Motion Picture Soundtrack?
