yeaqh. the Alesis sound library is pretty great. it helps to run it through a fuzz or a distortion to make it sound less sterile, but the quality of sound on their products are solid.

very nice knobs and sliders, too. I had the desktop reverb (the Wedge), which was actually a great little unit.

Get a kurzweil k2000,k2000s,k2000v3.

you can score them on the fee bay for the price of a used micron or mini. Those are some of the best synths ever especially for the market value you can get them at.

Also if your thinking about the R3 look at the alesis ion

I always say k2000,korg ms2000, or anything Nord

I am not saying the micron or mini is bad for the price. Would I pay for one new? No. But you should research the k2000.

the Micron has a Vocorder, you just have to get a mic for it. Sadly the (fake or otherwise) Italian patch never works from what I understand...

The Hi-Fi have an Ion, which is a big version of the Micron, Board member Choppy is really good with that thing, if you have questions on it contact him, I am sure he will be happy to answer anything...
