His positions on these kinds of things are no different than any other Democrat in recent history.
As for the faith-based initiatives complaint, he's already made it clear that he supports expanding them ONLY contingent on changing the rules for them that Bush had in place; rules that not surprisingly allowed for too little oversight in how the money was used and in ensuring that state money was not being used for proselytizing.

I'm not saying that Obama's all-too predictable centrism doesn't bother me, but there's very little difference when compared with Dem candidates in the past. They all did it.
