I met Cook a couple of years ago while he was playing in Edwyn Collins' band. Cool guy and wearing very well for a man who lived through the Punk excesses of the late 70's.

I always thought Sid was supposed to be the "handsome one", chosen because of his looks and not any particular musical talent or ability. He reportedly used to get more attention from the girls than the rest of them, which became a point of conflict with Johnny Rotten, though he never openly admitted it. Maybe I shouldn't believe things I read in the music press.

They all look pretty fugly to me, though not as bad as the Ramones. Then again, I can't tell from dudes.

Paul Cook. Handsome is also about personality (for me).

I never pass up an opportunity to point out that the Sex Pistols were basically a boy band.

They were marketable. Only cashing in on the Punk Scene.

Lydon is probably the best looking Sex Pistol.
