I'd rather shit into my own mouth than spend time in Vegas. Imagine, a place that exists only to address base desires, in the middle of an extremely inhospitable landscape, and where otherwise sensible humans go to blow their life savings.

But if you must go, go now, as that place will be abandoned inside of 20 years... Water crisis currently underway, peak oil destruction of on-demand air conditioning -- the collapse will be spectacular and I will enjoy it greatly.

I despise everything that place has to offer. I would not be surprised if the government put every ounce of time and money into LV to keep it floating so they can reap the benefits. There has been talk about it.

Only time I've been to Vegas was a changeover between flights. First thing you see at the gate getting off the plane is slot machines. They waste literally no time enabling the gambling addicted. I amused myself imagining someone showing up for a Vegas vacation and ending up never leaving the airport because this machine is gonna pay out big any minute now.

If you want to get your hook on, I'm to understand that there are no brothels in Las Vegas proper.
