Just saw the building across the street hit directly by lightning for about three whole seconds and lose power. Crazy!
About a half hour ago it was total insanity outside. Sideways hail, flooded street. I looked out the back door down the gangway and it was like buckets pouring off the upper deck. And the constant lightning. Seems to be calming down now though.
Chaz is downtown and he sent me a text saying they lost power at his work.
I would be fucking terrified to be caught outside in this nonsense, or in a job like food delivery.

However, one of my most favorite things to do is sit in the dark, listen to music over the rain and thunder. Doesn't happen often. Got Unwound's Leaves Turn Inside You playing right now.

The Melvins playing during a giant chaotic tornado storm. Uh, yeah that happens so often I can see where everyone would just say fuck it.
