12Urban Dictionary and the movie "Kiss Me, Guido" (wiki) both have guidos as being Italians, and not Sicilians. However, what defines a guido according to the Dictionary isn't so much your ethnicity as it is how you act.

14no matter what its origins may be, the term guido means neither italian nor piece of shit to me. it refers more or less loosely to a style of dress (including extreme tanning practices) & maybe some courting rituals.
i run into guidos who are otherwise nice enough folks all the time. they're just nice & orange, that's all.
all supposed slurs do not equal "piece of shit" anyways. i'm a self-identifying hick-kid, i use it to own & make fun of my smalltown roots, but it doesn't refer to my "worth" or how i treat people.

I just wanted to make a thread to express my gratitude to the PRF, for offering a warm and welcoming place where we can express our contempt for cultures that are not on the list of Sacred Cows.
