I know he supported Reagan's agricultural policies and farm-aid rhetoric, but this doesn't sound right to me, because wasn't Neil still a Canadian citizen back then? (I think he might still be...)
Besides, Greendale is a pretty good indicator of the side of the spectrum on which Neil resides now, and it certainly isn't the right one.

Marilyn Manson supported W in 2000.
He claimed that 4 years of fascism would produce better art. I don't know if that was borne out in reality but it amused me at the time.

Yeah, I don't think Neil Young was able to LITERALLY vote for Reagan, but he wholeheartedly supported Reagan at that time.
