If you provide the Sun Studios with a shrinkwrapped cd and tell them its yr band & yr on tour you can take the studio tour for free. Though it kind of sucks and I wouldn't waste my time unless you had desperate desire to be near old English people in Elvis t-shirts.I ate at Central BBQ and it is good. Though locals might have better options.Graceland is something. In Nashville go to Grimey's record store.

I am going to be in Nashville for a brief amount of time this week. I have absolutely no expectations about it and nothing I need to do. I do want to do some exploring, but I'm more of a walking-around-neighborhoods guy than a specific-destination guy. Any advice on what parts of town to hit? I'm up for anything.

I am sure there are off nights here, but I have not been to one. Also, Shepherd's Pie.
