I was on a website that offered artisnal bacon. best part is you could sign up for the Bacon of the month club. i remember it being expensive but we are talking about bacon.

My favourite at the moment is Tesco's Oak Smoked Dry Cure bacon. I'm enjoying it on seeded rye bloomer bread, with President unsalted butter, romaine lettuce, vine tomatoes and Hellman's Olive Oil mayonnaise (with lots of freshly cracked black pepper).

They do a hickory smoked one too, but that isn't dry cure, and it's the dry cure that I like.

Today for my lunch I had a sandwich of the kind described in my post above. However, today I used the streaky variety of the oak smoked.

It's even better than the other stuff.

When in the woods, I am drawn to bacon. I ate bacon every day 4 days in a row.
There was also Canadian Bacon, not really bacon, but it's good, dammit...

this thread takes me back to sophmore year of college. one of the girls across the hall (dorm) was, for a time, referred to as The Bacon Queen. a bunch of us guys would go to the store and buy packs of oscar mayer bacon, and then bring it over to her dorm room. she would cook it, and we would eat it. just bacon. that was the meal. an entire package of bacon. one time she was woken from a slumber at maybe 1am or so to make a package of bacon for us jerks. she was The Bacon Queen!

bacon is the finest meat that is not BBQ pork. BBQ sauce on the pork chop, that is number one of the meat. but bacon is number 2! salut the pig! you are the tastiest!

My landlord at the new job, he is named mr. bacon. He says I cannot park my bike in his weeds. I hear he has breast implants, but I have not witnessed this yet. I can understand his frustration with my bike if this is true...the poor old man with the fake titties...

Back to the real Bacon... Bacon is also wonderful in the grease form. To fry the eggs in the bacon grease that is saved in the fridge, this is beauty.

Why do you say this like she is a fact? There is no study, there is just this friend of yours who was veggizini and loved the bacon more than whatever makes him want the vivo vegetarianista, and who told you so, and yet you, Signor Tmhizoni, you say "The bacon, she kills the veggizinis' will" like it is the only answer, the HARD FACT. I know some vegetonis who crave the chicken wings more than anything. Some of them the Hardee's burgers or the pepperoni. Bacon on its own, I no like-a so much

But there's these place here, Belushi's, they have the Bacon Bleu cheese burger, it's grilled to perfection, and it's so much of the delicioso. Bacon on a burger is so many time the not crap, if they are the nice thick slices.
