I'm not the biggest fan, but I did enjoy that EP they did as "Guns N' Wankers." That's quite good.

I don't get the hate on either S&G or the Bangles. The Bangles cover is pretty top notch. I have the 7" somewhere.
The Lemonheads' "Mrs. Robinson" is pretty grating, and self-consciously hip, thus, more grating.

Agreed on the Bangles. Not so much on S&G--any band that actually used the lyrics "I have my poetry and my books to protect me" probably deserves to be slapped around like a pair of pansy-assed nancy boys.
The Bangles' cover of "Hazy Shade of Winter" is fucking top notch.

No, see, the thing is, it's actually a good song. Irony can go eat a bunch of dicks.
I saw the Bangles last summer. NOT CRAP, waffle factor of new, less-hot bass player.

Can. Not. Stand. The Bangles version, particularly the drums.

This is some sort of elitist hipster "nothing mainstream can be good" thing, isn't it?

As a wee lad i can remember listening to this song and the LL Cool J classic
"Going back to Cali".
Both of which were the only songs i dug off of the "Less than zero" soundtrack.
This was when i was in 7th grade.
Also, the opening guitar riff inspired the thought to learn how to play the guitar.
Not Crap either one.
"Bikini small, heels tall, she said she liked the ocean".
