listen, it's impossible (at this point) to go back and read the absolute garbage that that twatlick was posting, because he pussied out and deleted it all. personally, i don't give two shits what anyone says in a post on a fucking web-page--but this guy was literally giving me chills. i couldn't BELIEVE how rank the shit was that he was talking about--it was, in my mind, wholly inappropriate, and excruciatingly stupid, and was a wretched read. typically, i enjoy visiting this website and reading the posts. some of andrew weatherhead's posts are stupid, you say? well, so are some of mine, and so are some of 8033's, and so--dare i say it--are some of EVERYONE'S. the humanity vested within us makes the instance of stupidity unavoidable in entireity--but that's life. there is a difference, though, in the occasional stupidity of everyone on this post-board, and the insanely frightening, completely constant stupidity displayed by Jerm Snyder. perhaps it's too late for you to compare, but that's not our problem. in any case, if you are the girl that the name implies, then you would have certainly been offended by a couple things that were said, but wouldn't really take it any further than that--and if not, then like me, you would have merely been so disgusted by the blatant stupidity and ceaseless stream of shit spewed out by that half-wit, that silence and ignorance could no longer have been commendable.

now, that's enough--this is starting to sound like some terrible sympathy-pride-play from some pro-war Bush propagandist film. forget about it, guys. the guy is gone, the words are out, and there are more interesting things to talk about today.

Everyone reread Dylan's post and accept it as the way things should go on a message board, mailing list, chat forum, etc.

Otherwise you're wasting your time and time of others as well.

Don't go off on people. Please, you are not an authority. It saddens me to see that someone retracted their post even before I had time to read it.

If you want to tease or make fun of people, in a light-hearted manner, that's fine, and it's usually funny. But don't take this shit personal.

There's no need for people to stick up for other people on a basically anonymous message board. People can stick up for themselves just fine, if they think they need to.

If something happens or if someone says something which you think is inappropriate, refrain from attacking them directly, and instead private message one of the Moderators of the forum and let them deal with it. If they don't deal with it to an extent in which you think they should have, then let them know in another private message. Maybe you weren't clear the first time why you are so pissed off.

Basically, this forum has been unmoderated so far, and I'd like to keep it that way. Don't be so immature to force us to have to do things we don't want to do.

Along with being my wife, she also happens to have a valid opinion, and dismissing that opinion because of gender is just wrong. I'm going to assume you were kidding because to think otherwise is painful. This board attracted me because it was more enlightened than most.

I'm not taking this personally, I just feel I have to defend something I did. I really felt like people were attacking this guy just because he didn't fit in with the "cool kids" and not for any valid reasons. I may not agree with a lot of what Jerm said, but I defend his right to say it. Please russ, don't make the board moderated. I think everybody seems to be on the same page with this issue.
