This might be my favorite amp that I own. It's a very-few-watts '65 Alamo. I bought it at a sidewalk yard sale for $50. It records beautifully and doesn't get louder than conversation level.Last session I used it, we killed it. Great sadness. Mr. Adrian did the repair -- the power transformer was teeny-tiny and I guess couldn't really handle the meager wattage. (I pretty much always run it on 10.)

I have a picture of the old tranny somewhere. So tiny! Ah-

tallchris wrote:Damn, that's even smaller than the transformer in the Montgomery Ward amp I got from Snowblinder. Was it mounted to the speaker? No, I think you can see it hanging off the chassis in the second pic of the amp that I posted above. (right, Ben?) It looks bigger there, but the amp itself is actually pretty small. 8 speaker.

Current recording setup:I go back and forth between the TS-50B and the YBA-1 with the 1x15. Both sound awesome. I've been playing around with running the TS-50B's line out into the B-15's input, while the B-15 is running both cabs, and that sounds pretty good too.Don't have any photos of the live setup or the guitar amp.
