Crap. It simply doesn't hold up. Souxie Soux is like The Wall to me - it
was tolerable at 17 years old, but years later you give it a listen and ask
yourself, "What the fuck was I thinking?"

12I love them. I could do without the last couple of records I guess, but they had many great releases.
I adore John McGeoch. One of my all time favorites. People always talk about Keith Levine, but John was my post-punk guitar hero.
Siouxsie picked some great "Johns" to play guitar. John McKay fit in well, but the real sleeper was John Valentine Caruthers. His playing on Tinderbox is fantastic. It's tough to play as well. Really creative.
Steve Severin - solid.
And what can you say about Budgie. He's his own man, when it comes to drumming. Nobody else like him.
The woman herself is one of a kind. So much better than her contemporaries.

15never ever did a thing for me. I have passed up many chances to see them over the many many years.
CRAP!

16I love this band.
Well, for about a couple of records with McGeoch and the early singles, that is. He was great guitar player on Kaliedescope and Juju, real textbook stuff on how to play creatively in a rock band setting. A big inspiration.
They had good basslines and tight drumming. I like Siouxsie's accent when she sings.
No other band encapsulates for me the feeling of England in the early eighties as well as Siouxsie and the Banshees. A dirty, grey, miserable time. Maybe I should clarify this by saying that I lived in an corrugated aluminium bungalow in Milton Keynes from 80-84.
My brain is tempted to say crap, but my heart says NOT CRAP.

17Not Crap
I'll even go so far as to say the underground white label remix of "Peek-a-Boo" off of Peepshow is pretty damn incredible if you're into that sort of thing.

18heard peek-a-boo yesterday.
bought the 12" single for a friend's b-day one year.
had to sit through a collection of videos once at the will of a now ex-gf.
not anything i'd ever listen to ever. but if you want to...i'm going home. i've got a lot of work to do around the bed.
