i hate eve libertine and her damn broadway voice.
if they trully cared about the way the world was being run they would have quit their shitty band and become politicians. their music is as was said before: one dimensional.
they claim to be anarchists and and basically anyone who does that is a phony.

my friend justin loves this band and forces me to listen to it everytime we drive to vintage vinyl.
ive heard all their albums multiple times so its not like im just talking without knowing what im talking about. this band is the truest form of CRAP.

Great band. Totally unique in their day. Created a sound and method for themselves which served as a template for other, equally great bands (and a few lousy ones).

I don't agree with everything they say, but so what. The things I do agree with are right on, and they were kind to other bands and their audience, and they made some of the most stark, ugly music ever. Bravo.

If you say they have to answer for the idiotic political hardcore that came in their wake, then I'd say the Rolling Stones and Creedence have more and worse to answer for.

I loved Crass when i was younger, i think they're great.
I still have all the vinyl i collected from Crass Records (I liked their record label even more than i liked them, i think)
Stations was a good album, but i was more fond of Christ the Album and Penis Envy.

Incredible lyrics, totally original music. They set the golden standard for DIY punk rock. And they all had great made-up names.

I listen to them almost everyday since they pop up frequently on my iPod. "Do they owe us a living ?" would have my eyes doing loops if I heard it for the first time today, but "General Bacardi" will always be fresh. I can't vote for or against them. As hippies go, they are alright. They will never be the joke that *Jello Biafra is at least.

Not crap, at all. Fuck the haters. One of the most interesting bands ever made. "The Feeding...", "Stations...", "Penis Envy", and "Christ The Album" were all excellent. How many bands can say they released 4 excellent albums? Not many. And Redline, they weren't Socialists.

Perfect albums. Excellent band. Possibly the greatest punk rock band of all time. Aggressive, original...their DIY work alone is incredible. The best logo of any band ever. One of my favorites, I never get tired of them. My first real introduction to obnoxious, violent noise. Crass Records. Through Crass I found Rudimentary Peni, Flux of Pink Indians, etc. Pushed the boundaries as well as the envelope...singlehandedly created newsworthy controversies that caused much political instability...worked against ridiculous sexual and gender stereotypes in punk rock...really interesting band history, read their biography by George Berger...they made not selling out a way of life, and inspired countless musicians to just steal a guitar and fucking go for it...Excellent.

I adore Crass. Not their fault everything that came afterwards is boring bullshit.
