My kids and I will be there regardless of whether there are bands.I only caught 2 full sets last year (Mars Hill and First Responders) plus a couple of songs from PT Ori and Wowza. Oh! Also the Petrillo bonfire set which my kids still talk about. On the other hand, if the rest of you aren't watching bands, there will be more people doing archery, and less time that my kids can be doing archery, so I say book bands. During archery.

So, I'm just going to throw this out.Hanging and activities all day, jamming at night???Thought about this a lot, and I don't know exactly what you mean, but here's how it went through my filter: We have enough recording engineers around the ranks to count all the dropped toothpicks in the world, and each of them has their own mobile rig, I'm sure. Imagine a few different stations, or areas, where there might be a drum set or some percussion, amps, guitars, keys, whatever, and people can float around and jam with each other. For instance, I've never had an opportunity to play music with, like, Liz, and I've quite literally thought about that for years. This might be a logistic nightmare, or better left to another time/place/event, but just thinking outloud. Of course bands are fine, but have you tried 'shrooms? Those are also super fine.I love the idea of pickup bands, and the opportunity to capture the output. My schedule is not mine to make at the moment, but if that changes, I'd love to be there again, and participate, observe, fix stuff, or whatever.
No one is paying you to sit on that bed and cry.

Sincerely want to create a band that just does this. You two + myself need to start our Oneida band. Ike - drums, Jeff - bass/keys, me - guitar/keys. First show is the campout. In terms of DRUM CIRCLES, I think we should do some BOREDOMS-level shit to start off the weekend. Get fuckin' drums in a kayak or canoe, just go fuckin' ham.
