We gets tons of use out of our ps3 as a streaming device but it's upstairs on the big tv. This magnavox DVD player is also a CD player in that it has dedicated ffwd and rew buttons on the front. My brother advised me to get the combo when I bought it 15 years ago, and now I'm thrilled at his prescience. My receiver and speakers are super nice, and to be honest, I haven't listened to any of my cds on a nice system in ages, so shit is sounding deluxe.

Also, as nice as those other players may be, a $0 solution makes the tone all that much sweeter.
