Not much! Worked the dents out of some cars, got vaccinated for Covid, practiced one time in a year with my band. Was dealing with a lot of anxiety, which I'm sure many people have been, so I finally started exercising. I ride my recumbent bike about 10 miles a day and it's helped a bunch. Trying to figure out how to feel halfway normal again after being in the doldrums for so long.

I ended up biking as well (for daily commute, so I don't get the COVID on the bus 🙄). After, like, 30 years of no biking! I had to re-learn. It's helping me a lot with depression and keeping me away from alcohol. I could have felt much worse than this in this period, if I wasn't too tired to ruminate at the end of the day.

Things got so quiet I rejoined Facebook, ugh..

Not much otherwise. Contributed some content for some PRF Streaming Thangs, which at least got me into the routine of recording again. I'll be doing some tracking at Howl Street in a few weeks, the first actual studio I've been to in 5 years. Otherwise I look forward to being fully vax'd by the end of the month and hopefully see some of you in person over the summer/fall.

p.s. I'm former FM 154. I should have changed the name way sooner.

I'm surprised that's not a more common sentiment.

Dixie and i got really into this bird cam in Akron, OH. Bunch of Orioles have arrived there! Hoo boy!

I also have started pickling things in my fridge over the last year. So, between that and the bird cam, i am now your grandmother.

Just drums for a solo project, plans are loose beyond that but most likely the remainder would be done from home. At the very least it'll be fun to hear drums in an awesome space!

Cooked a lot. Smoked a lot of weed. Bought too much gear I barely touch right now. Sold some stuff I was using even less. But, mostly just wake up, work from the dining table, make dinner with the wife, smoke weed, walk the dog, watch Letterkenny, go to sleep, repeat repeat repeat.

A smattering band practices in the fall when cases were dropping here, then not again till about a month ago. Still managed to write a good chunk of songs remotely which was a pleasant surprise.
