The Ferries one ("Betty Ford James") is hilarious; I thought there must be some slight variation (lyrics or whatever), but nope- it's the exact same song! HA!

I'd also draw attention to the Stones' "Sing This All Together (See What Happens)", which I'm well aware most people hate, but which I quite like (especially in mono).

Will check the archived threads to see if there's been a "Sgt. Pepper" vs "Their Satanic Majesties Request" thunderdome yet...

Some of the 70s/80s Phil Collins Genesis albums had last-track sort of overture pieces that called back some of the album's melodies, and I would enjoy them.
