I tried Waterloo seltzer recently when it was on sale at my local yuppie grocery. I could not justify the cost on a regular basis, but I do have to admit it had a distinct pleasing taste relative to other seltzers.

Also just in case someone is new here and doesn’t already know about Kate Rath aka @seltzerflavors, go check out her stuff, she’s great.

I don't enjoy non-alc beers (still hits "too close to home"), but as a guy who has sleep problems and who used to like IPAs, hop-infused seltzers have been a terrific evening companion.

Root Beer/Birch Beer/ Sarsaparilla

Ice Tea / Sweet Tea

Dr. Pepper

Water

Lemonade

(I have pretty much kicked all major vices, but soda remains and I am not stopping)

Stappi Red Bitter. Take one of those little 100ml bottles, take a drink from a bottle of Topo Chico (regular or grapefruit) and pour the Stappi into the Topo. That's some real special occasion shit.

Wow, can you find the apple (apfelschorle) in the USA and where?!

When I was traveling, this was my favorite beverage when in Germany (other than bier).

< edit > Nevermind, I see they have a search engine on their web site. Apparently, a supermarket 5 miles from my house carries their products. I will have to check it out!! < / edit >
Glad you found it! I just discovered it randomly here in Louisville at a grocery chain called ValuMarket.

Coffee and polar seltzer at home. Espresso and Pelegrino when out. NO interest in fucking around with NA Beer, may just make me want a real one.

If you missed it.....

"I drink them like I'm trying to put out a fire behind my sternum"

That kinda shit is why I keep a word file of Ringo quotes.

A good friend of mine who swore off wine and liquor has switched to drinking seltzer/club soda with bitters and a splash of citrus - in various combinations. She has a little collection of various craft bitters she chooses from.

I love making iced-tea from scratch. I buy various black and strong teas in bulk loose and end up blending them and brewing 2 quarts double-strength at a time, then pouring over ice to make a gallon. We drink a gallon of iced tea about every 4-5 days throughout the year.

Was gonna suggest bitters (the kind with alcohol) and soda but depending on your relationship with alcohol, maybe not for everyone. Yeah, 2 dashes any bitters, and soda with lemon is a great drink.

The Brooklyn Brewing NA beer is really good. Also +1 on Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher.

I'm able to get this at non-yuppie grocery stores here for $4 per eight-pack. I only drink one per day, so it doesn't seem like a huge expense.
