Yep! I'm a big fan of the Thomas Keller 6 minute egg for this.

I prefer a fried egg there, not that I would "kick it out of bed" so to speak..

I like mine scrambled, almost in patty form, with extra sharp cheddar on top and a slightly browned bottom. I usually flip it over to crisp up the cheese a bit, too.

On a related note, I recently had some quail eggs and they are really the most overrated foodstuff. They taste just like normal eggs, so it's like barely a mouthful of a normal egg. If I were a squirrel I might see the point.

It has its culinary uses, due to size. Mostly see it used in various sushi preparations. It works.

Lately, my jam has been make some bacon or brown up some ham, then fill up the same frying pan with about 1/4" of water in the bottom, bring to boil and crack a couple of eggs in there and cover with a lid until they are basically poached. less pans. basic same product without having to boil a bunch of water and make a water tornado and shit. Super quick for making fancy pants McMuffins.

Over easy or medium, gotta have some yolk especially with bacon or toast. Scrambled though if it's a quick breakfast and I'm just throwing them in a tortilla with some sour cream for a quick egg taco.

For richness, nothing can hold a candle to custardy French-style scrambled eggs.

2 over easy, hash browns, links and rye toast.
