YES. Pre-ordered.
Reasonably priced for a 3 LP set too!

I've had and been enjoying the '97 - '99 boxset for three months now, but I just remembered this thread after throwing the records on again this afternoon.
Really happy with them, one of those bands who for years I wished and fantasized about listening to their CD-only studio albums on wax one day.
And another band who are brilliant in their own right, who I highly suspect are also big fans of Laddio Bolocko, are the Zs, if you're itching to hear more of something similar:

Maybe you got porch-swiped by the lone hater who voted "crap".
For real though, I do hope you get one in your hands, and you were the one who made me aware of the existence of the boxset in the first place!

Wrote the distro (Revolver) who was cool and apologetic about it, and got my box Friday. The vinyl sounds great: kinda takes the searing edge off what I've only known thru mp3s and youtube over the years. It all sounds remarkably fresh and even though there were a lot of instrumental bands at that time, still seems ahead of its time.

This is cool, and definitely in a similar vein. Also holy crap, they've been around for a while and completely flown under my radar.

That's great news, and I completely agree about the searing edge getting filed down a bit on vinyl. The downside of listening to 'Strange Warmings' on headphones are the way the drums were recorded taking a beating to your ears. The recordings themselves of that album sound like crudely captured but still serviceable practice room jams at their worst, with the hard clipping on the drums played by Blake "I smack the shit out of the kit" Flemming no less, being the album's only major flaw.
"In Search of Bolocko" getting nixed from the vinyl sequencing is a bummer though, but I still love the whole set.
Sometimes when you let a fellow local weirdo musician into your car to smoke them out, they'll throw on something really cool (Zs - New Slaves) on the stereo that you've never heard before.

Might as well use this thread (members of LB). Holy crap why did I never check this out before? Maybe cuz the name conjures up generic psych rock.. But it's completely mind numbing, like a black metal band without distortion. This Heat crossed with Deafheaven..
