Good year, but it's Pink Flag if I'm just listening to one ever again.

Based on what I have I've picked up on record, my favorites, I guess, are in the list below. I also have a soft spot for Elis Regina's 1977 album and Millie Jackson's Feelin' Bitchy for nostalgic reasons. I was a kid then and remember hearing them at the parties and asados I was dragged along to.
AC/DC- Let There Be Rock
Air- Air Time
Derek Bailey- Drops
Brötzmann / Bennink- Schwarzwaldfahrt
Cheap Trick- Cheap Trick
Cheap Trick- In Color
Ornette Coleman- Dancing in Your Head
Dead Boys- Young Loud and Snotty
Eddie Hazel- Game, Dames and Guitar Thangs
Hawkwind- Quark, Strangeness and Charm
Julius Hemphill- Blue Boyé
Steve Lacy- Straws
MX-80 Sound- Hard Attack
Parliament- Funkentelechy vs. the Placebo Syndrome
Shoes- Black Vinyl Shoes
Suicide- Suicide
T.Rex- Dandy in the Underworld
Dwight Twilley- Twilley Don't Mind
Wire- Pink Flag
O.V. Wright- Into Something (Can't Shake Loose)

Back then, you could have "Dissident Aggressor" and "Last Rose of Summer" on the same record without anyone questioning your metal credentials.

70s Priest, man. Only they could make a completely un-ironic metal cover of a Joan Baez song.

So true. As much as I love 70's Priest, I think Screaming for Vengeance was their high point, though. My uncle gave me that and British Steel on vinyl as a kid, which started me on my long Priest journey. But fuck Dave Holland. Les Binks was the man.
