I've always loved hockey, but hockey fans at the Xcel can be straight up assholes, so much that I really don't have much of an interest in going to games anymore. I've even felt myself drifting away from watching Wild games as religiously as I used to; maybe in part because of this?
Yeah, I'm w/ this on snowboarding. I love to go ride but hate almost every other person on the hill. I pretty much only go when I can burn a PTO day during the week now. Especially in the midwest, the hills are too crowded to ride safely after the ski clubs show up & on the weekends.

Cycling too to a lesser extent because other riders can usually be avoided/tuned out (at least where I live). Cycling is much less of a joyful, breathtaking (more like winded amirite) experience for me, but riding with friends on trips is just about the best.

Oh yeah, good one. The combination of MAMILs (middle aged men in lycra) and clueless families meandering can be a drag.

Dog parks (great in theory) are another one. Always at least one asshole on their phone the entire time while their poor pent up 90lb dog wants to chase and jump on every other dog in sight. So yeah.. some dog "fans" ruin it for the rest.

Totally agree about shit fans at gigs.

Deviation: I've devoted most, wait, all of my adult life to carefully studying philosophy. I often miss the world where I could study/teach it for a living. One look at the comments on a professional philosophy blog and I'm quickly cleansed of any desire to engage with professional philosophers again. Such mean, backwards, and riddled with bad reasoning fueled by their prejudices.
