Collecting records got old for me when everything started costing more than $4-5 a pop. Through the 90s and early aughts I probably acquired a hundred or so records a year and never posted any pictures of myself with them anywhere. If you were a fellow collector-friend/nerd maybe we'd get together to audition a few or enthuse about a rare find.

I stopped buying records when the 180 gram new pressing for $20-30+ fetishization trend started.
