I don't know how to vote.
That technique was pretty well worn out by Dimebag Darrell, John Christ, and Tommy Victor.
This is from a few years ago. I feel like the pinch harmonics are a pretty good setup to hit you with the "T Rex..." lift.

The idea that a technique, by it's very nature, could be "Crap..."?
That is pretty squarely over in "Blockhead..." territory.
Might as well start a "Toggle Switch Flipping..." /"B-Bender..."/"Neck Bend..." C/NC
I think the c/nc part of the forum is only bringing you sorrow. Once again I commend your stance against snark.
Well, I surely miss the "Wiggan Butty..." days.

A technique can be crap. Sweeping is crap. Utter crap. Noodle woodle crap.
Pinch harmonics are fine.

What's wrong with sweeping, or do you mean specifically sweeped arpeggios?

Economical picking choices are nobody’s business but your own. Swept arpeggios in the technical metal style are what I mean.

I'll gladly go to bat for Danzig I-III, but Glenn lost the script after that.

Politely, negative.
Buckethead sweep picking some wonky bit is never gonna be crap.

You can also sweep pick part of the Woody Woodpecker theme.
Again, not crap.
