11Very good album and MUCH better than Technical ecstacy. Air Dance is their best "curveball" IMO and both Johnny Blade and Juniors eyes are damn cool tunes. I dig the jazz-rock tune and the Bill Ward closer as well which is as close as they got to Funkadelic after the change-up. A Hard Road is bad though, title track borrows too much from Thin Lizzy and while Shock Wave has some GREAT riffs and melodies, the structure is a pseudo-proggy disaster; I think Iommi had lost his ability to structure his riffs for maximum impact which becomes clear already on parts of Sabotage. The "leaner"/more "generic" 80s approach to arrangements heard on the Dio albums should have been applied earlier IMO because the attempts at more ambitious structures are too hit-and-miss on the last 3 Ozzy albums IMO
