Unbelievable show, impeccable storytelling, vivid and lived-in characters, extraordinary blend of pathos and hard-bitten realism. Strongly disagree that it's a blokey show and put in those episodes as clickbait, in context they threw Ray into sharp relief and reminded the viewer not to get too close, that he has a limited perspective and a sanctimonious moral "code". My partner has no time for macho television and found it as engaging as I did. Top five series of all time for me.

I’ve only seen clips on YouTube but I really want to watch this entire show one of these days. The only thing I didn’t like so far is how clichéd the character of the anger management group counselor is. Like, nobody is that bad at their job. I mean yeah some people are, but it just feels contrived to provide a straw man for our hero to make sport of.

The clips don’t tell the full story, he’s a reasonably fleshed out character and his interactions with Ray are great.

Best show I’ve seen in a long time.
The guy who plays Bruce was fantastic. I loved all the scenes between him, Ray, and Ray’s daughter, even if hard to watch at times.
Mr Inbetween was much better than the other hitman show Barry, which I also liked.
