Specific:

Taylor battery boxes - they suck
Old EV RE50 microphones with mesh screen seemingly welded on. The capsule will come loose and you can't get it off to fix it. My spouse loves them, I can't fix them.

General:
New production guitars with sharp fret ends
Loose potentiometers on non-guitar items

Seriously though, one thing I love about telecasters is that monstrously thick slab body. You could bash that thing around for a decade and still put it back together no problem.

It's kind of amazing he got it so right on the first production guitar. Would have been PERFECT if you could have adjusted the damn truss rod without it being a minor pain in the ass. It kind of sucks you have to remove the bridge to swap the bridge pickup too, but I do love the sound that flimsy bridge adds.
