Not Crap. They are often hilarious, and have chops. Their humor can be a bit precious at times, but they don't cross the Crap threshold.

Not Crap. I can see why some would find them annoying, but they've had too many great moments to be considered crap.

Also, one of my favorite live moments was at a Ween show. I hear it's pretty standard at their shows, but I don't care--- their cover of "Hot For Teacher", with their tall, dreadlocked, black, muscular-and-wearing-a-wifebeater drummer doing vocals that were DEAD-ON for David Lee Roth. It ruled.

Oh, and for what it's worth [which is nothing, I know], I read in an interview where the "12 country greats" referred not to the number of songs, but to the 12 Nashville session players that they used on the album. So there you go, some geek trivia for ya.

i used to be indifferent to them...
but then i met one of them at a show in minneapolis and he was such a smug little cocksucker to everyone i wanted to whup the tar outta him. i have not liked 'em since.

Their latest album was a bit dissapointing....but if they were making fun of all that lame radio rock then it worked out well...there's a few gems on there.....
They are not crap. They write music the "write" way....hahaha

There is talent there... make no mistake. It's even funny at times I must admit. But after hearing each album once... I'm really over it.

Not crap. They have made a sound that can only be described as ween, but they went the hard way and made it pleasurable to listen to. I don't really care for pure guava, but the rest of their albums deserve heavy rotation on my stereo. They also are the majority of peoples worshipping the Boognish. If you haven't heard their jingle written for/rejected by pizza hut you should go to their website and have a listen.
