Come to think of it...
The Blood Oranges.
It's a rarity that you will ever even cross paths with folks who even knew that the band was ever a thing, but every person in that band was an operator.
(Never mind that the band as a whole was an amazing band that goes almost totally unsung...)
To me? Cheri was always a seriously close second to Linda Thompson.

They’ve been playing shows again. Oddly, no Boston show which would be convenient for me, as well as very appropriate! But there are April dates in Portland ME and Keene NH that I could probably get to.
Truly great band and an influence on me when I was trying to find my own musical voice.
