Here's a quick snapshot of my Gretsch kit - It's a mix of round badge toms and a Drop G kick.

The late '70s "Drop G" badge kick drums are ridiculously great. It's a 14"x22" Drop G kick paired with all of my round badge toms. (9"x13" and two 16"x16" floor toms) This was also the first gig for the 6.75" snare I pieced together.

And here's the kit I'm working on as a drum tech this week:
DW kit with a timbale snare instead of a rack tom. I can't talk much about the gig right now, but I'm a drum tech to the stars, these days.

Shit that Gretsch kit is tight. Love my old progressive jazz, but if I were to get exactly what I want it’d be a 22” kick, 12” rack and 14” and 16” on the floor.
