Just jammed Slayed? last week. That said, I'm voting T. Rex for their simplicity and groove.
"All Alone" is the best T. Rex song.
That guy needs to get a damn clue...
Any live Alice Cooper smokes either one.
(and I love both of those bands....)

Past that...
You know when you hear the The Carpenters version of "No Place Like Home For The Holidays..." around Christmas and want to drive into a telephone pole because you found out that they recorded all of those songs at once but released that album after Karen died?
These guys might just talk you off of that particular ledge...

Back to business though...
The only thing "Glam..." that even sorta touches this?

Found the rest very one-dimensional outside of the hits - sitting through an album's worth of T.Rex or Slade is a serious chore.
Really? You ever spin Slade In Flame? So good.
I wondered if Heartbreakers count as glam. I suppose that's a clear vote for yes they do.
I'd say The Heartbreakers we're firmly in the early punk camp.

Yes, I know the Slade catalogue from their glory days. IMO they are underrated (generally remembered as one hit wonders / novelty band status here in the U.K.), but while they had a great stomping, almost maniacal sound they rarely had the songs to back it up. I think the Sladest comp is miles above the albums.
Heartbreakers are not glam, but you can get a moderate Thunders fix from the Dolls oeuvre - still, why have moderate when you can have the excess of L.A.M.F.?

Prime Alice Cooper Band rocks so hard that I completely forgot about them in this context, but they are indeed glam and are indeed awesome. I still think I'd just about give Roxy my vote, but that may be out of sheer misguided euro-trash faux-sophistication as it's hard to argue w/ Killers.

One other thing...
"Second Wave..." or not?
Hanoi Rocks is better than all of this nonsense put together.

Along the same lines as Hanoi Rocks?
I would take Fahey/Detroit over most of this stuff every day of the week.
