Cop Heavy, slow, unsparing, almost unbearable. There's some transcendence-through-suffering enlightenment going on here.

Filth and the first EP. Don't give a crap about anything else they did. More or less "outgrew" Swans and Gira's shtick by the time I was 25.

How I Loved You is Angels of Light though...I totally prefer those albums to mostly anything under the Swans tag.
