Voted for Filth in the other thread. Voted for it again here.
My bad, didn't see that thread. Can threads be merged into one? Or should I just delete this one? If that's even possible
I wouldn't worry about it now. Folks seem happy to talk about them again.

I'm the wrong person to answer this because I have time for all those records, even the gothy ones Gira has more or less disavowed. But I suppose my top three here are

Soundtracks For the Blind. I'm a sucker for big sprawling records that are more than the sum of their parts, and that record is a vibe, man. I'm not wild about Volcano as a song by itself, but within the structure of the album I get it.

Children of God A rosetta stone of an album. Perfect mixture of the brutal and the he sublime as well as a bridge between where Swans started and where they were headed. It helps that this was the first thing by Swans I ever heard.

Cop Heavy, slow, unsparing, almost unbearable. There's some transcendence-through-suffering enlightenment going on here.

Zero shtick on How I Loved You. Nada.
How I Loved You is Angels of Light though...I totally prefer those albums to mostly anything under the Swans tag.
