Dino Danelli is a master, I think he stole his schtick from some Jazz guys, but updated for a rock format, twirling begins only 15 seconds in, some lovely swipes too. I love an expressive drummer. I am also pro pantaloons.

Feel the need to mention seeing Tad Kubler from the Hold Steady do the full guitar swing a few times. SO amazing.

When this video first went viral I had no fewer than seven friends post it to my Facebook wall on the same day, without bothering to look if anyone else had beaten them to it. An amazing performance by social media.

Drummer showmanship is not crap, even though it's been over 20 years since the last time I set my cymbals on fire. (I figured after Great White it felt a little gauche.)

The Mad Drummer rules. Really big heart and insanely good, not just at goofy drumming either. When you have a sense of humor like that, then absolutely twirl your shit. But I think some drumnastics come off as a plea for attention, especially when the band is taking themselves too seriously already.

I saw the Quadrajets once in the 90's and the guitar player did the toss the guitar behind the shoulder flip about 5-7 per song.

It's rock and roll, and the message is: do it, do it.

First, Quardrajets...

Priceless...

Second...

Somewhere, I will give someone five to one odds that Warner Hodges did it at whatever the last show he played was.

Playing vs. monkey tricks: As long as you do both really well, I guess have at it, ya fancy little dandy.

Maybe find a funny hat, too. Just go all in. Tattoo one of those mustaches on your finger, go nuts.
