Serrano vs.Taylor was a fantastic example of why boxing is a shit "professional" sport. Serrano clearly fought better.
My kids have told me how toxic Paul is, but Tyson beat up his first wife and referred to it as “the best punch I’ve ever thrown.”Krev wrote: Fri Nov 15, 2024 10:04 am Regardless of how you feel about Iron Mike, he is 78 years old and is still gonna beat that toxic YT clown's ass.

They're both assholes. Mike is historically a crap person, but he's old school toxic. The Paul's are nouveau toxic. Mike telling Lennox Lewis that he would eat his children was not crap, though. That was classic pre-fight banter. This fight was just a sideshow.Wood Goblin wrote: Sat Nov 16, 2024 10:28 amMy kids have told me how toxic Paul is, but Tyson beat up his first wife and referred to it as “the best punch I’ve ever thrown.”Krev wrote: Fri Nov 15, 2024 10:04 am Regardless of how you feel about Iron Mike, he is 78 years old and is still gonna beat that toxic YT clown's ass.
Someone just told me that there have been sexual assault allegations against Paul as well.Krev wrote: Sat Nov 16, 2024 2:36 pmThey're both assholes. Didn't see this, but boxing is pretty much the peak of professional sport, even if the judging and politics are often fucking absurd.enframed wrote: Sat Nov 16, 2024 10:08 am Serrano vs.Taylor was a fantastic example of why boxing is a shit "professional" sport. Serrano clearly fought better.
Absurd and fixed judges are not particularly professional ways to operate. Then there's the betting influence. The spectacle is definitely there, though.A_Man_Who_Tries wrote: Sun Nov 17, 2024 2:40 amDidn't see this, but boxing is pretty much the peak of professional sport, even if the judging and politics are often fucking absurd.enframed wrote: Sat Nov 16, 2024 10:08 am Serrano vs.Taylor was a fantastic example of why boxing is a shit "professional" sport.
