My band used Kunaki for short CD runs of our last EP and will likely go with them to press CD copies of our upcoming album.
Pros: Good grief, the prices. And you can do small runs of them too. Runs of 5 to 99 copies for CDs, jewel cases, artwork and cellophane wrap are $2.10 per unit. Compared to such as Disc Makers that's wildly economical. Finished product looked good.
Cons: You need to either send them an existing CD that you want duplicated or a DDP file. And good grief having to put that all together is a pain. Otherwise if you just upload WAVs to them they'll apply their own mastering and put a 2-second pause in between each track. Carl Saff mastered the last EP and I remember he was absolutely astounded by all the hoops I had to jump through to send them a working DDP file they could use.
If anyone's interested I'll let you guys know the process as I still have to listen to the final revision of the masters before I get started.
